Newly released FBI video shows Epstein butler trying to sell his ‘little black book’

Alfredo Rodriguez said that ‘Epstein himself’ created it

Shocking footage showing Jeffrey Epstein’s former butler trying to flog his ‘little black book’ to an undercover FBI agent has been released.

Alfredo Rodriguez was seen bragging that ‘Epstein himself’ created it – and he wanted $50,000 (£37,000) to hand it over.

The 60-year-old, who died in 2015 after battling cancer, worked as a house manager for the disgraced financier at his Palm Beach mansion in the US state of Florida.

While he was employed by Epstein, Rodriguez claimed to have illicitly got his hands on a ‘little black book’ which included details of his boss’ criminal activities.

According to the butler, it contained the contact details of high-profile figures and Epstein’s victims.

The footage of Rodriguez bargaining with the book was taken on 3 November, 2009, and he believed he was meeting a lawyer who was representing women who had been trafficked by the convicted sex offender.

However, he was actually sitting down with an undercover FBI agent.

Take a look at this:

Revealing what he witnessed behind closed doors, Rodriguez explained he had been in tow when Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20 year sentence, went off to procure victims for Epstein.

“Ghislaine Maxwell was his former companion, a very powerful lady from England,” he is heard saying. “She would go to the former Eastern countries in Europe and find girls for Epstein.

“And I knew that because I went with my wife. They used to have a computer [that was] so powerful, they used to have a water radiator to cool the computer. Because they used to download pictures like that, so fast.”

When asked about what sort of snaps he was referring to, Rodriguez confirmed the images were of ‘naked’ girls.

He went on: “Naked, naked girls from Sweden, from Romania, from Czechoslovakia, from Brazil…very young, very young. 16, 17, they’re teenagers. They even have braces, most of them…these are very young girls.”

Rodriguez said he used to see young girls leave Epstein’s home to head to ‘comedy clubs, ice cream parlours or movies’, adding: “There was a lot of movies…because they were babies.”

He stole the ‘little black book’ he was trying to sell while working at the property between 2004 and 2005. Speaking of the book, Rodriguez told the FBI agent: “You will see a lot of important people [in] here.”

Rodriguez also claimed to have witnessed Maxwell browsing a database of young girls on the aforementioned supercomputer.

It is believed that the video of his exchange with the FBI agent was taken two years after authorities ordered the butler to hand over any information he had on Epstein.

As shown in the footage, he did not give authorities the book to police and he instead tried to sell it. Rodriguez is seen being handed a big bag of cash before the 45 minutes of footage ends.

He was arrested for ‘obstruction of official proceedings’ shortly after the FBI sting and confessed that he had lied to investigators by denying he had any dirt on Epstein.

Rodriguez told cops he kept hold of the book as an ‘insurance policy’ as he feared his ex-employer could make him ‘disappear’.

He was sentenced to 18 months behind bars in April 2012, which is the same sentence Epstein received in 2008 for soliciting a minor for prostitution – but the sex offender only served 13 months of his.

It is not currently known where the little black book is, however, it is believed that copies of it are out there.

The FBI said the black book ‘would have been extremely useful in investigating and prosecuting the case’ against Epstein.

When sentencing Rodriguez, US District Judge Kenneth Marra said: “If this book had been produced when requested, Mr. Epstein’s sentence may have been significantly different.

“There is some logic to the argument that Mr. Rodriguez shouldn’t be punished more severely than Mr. Epstein [who did] more egregious things than Mr. Rodriguez.”

The video has since been removed from the Department of Justice website, as CNN reported that officials had failed to obscure the identity of the undercover agent.Featured Image Credit: Neil Rasmus/Patrick McMullan via Getty Images

Russian woman offered to ‘A’ by Jeffrey Epstein in newly released emails

There was an email from Epstein to ‘the Duke’

The latest release of the Epstein files contains an email from 2010 in which Jeffrey Epstein appears to speak about a Russian woman to someone with the email handle ‘The Duke’, who signs themselves as ‘A’ and ‘HRH The Duke of York KG’.

Around three million more documents regarding the convicted and deceased sex offender Epstein were released by the US Department of Justice today (30 January), with a huge amount of images and videos among them.

Some of the released documents are heavily redacted or blocked out altogether, and at present there has been nothing turned up in them which implies wrongdoing.

Among them is an email which would appear to have been sent by Epstein on 12 August 2010 to ‘The Duke’. The email from Epstein suggested this person ‘might enjoy having dinner with’ the young Russian woman.

‘A’ wrote: “Great. Any other information you might know about her that might be useful to know? Like what have you told her about me and have you given her my email as well?”

Epstein wrote ‘she 26, russia, clevere (sic) beautiful, trustworthy and yes she has your email’.

The email to Esptein is signed ‘A’ and ‘HRH The Duke of York KG’, which is a title typically conferred upon the second son of the British monarch, who at the time the email was written would have been Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who lost his royal titles last year.

At the time he said it was because of the ‘continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the royal family’, adding ‘I vigorously deny the accusations against me’.

Mountbatten-Windsor has in the past denied wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.

Also in the recently released files was an email exchange between Epstein and ‘The Duke’ from 27 September 2010, where Epstein said he was in London and discussed meeting up.

Epstein wrote: “What time woudl [sic] you like me and [redacted], we will also need/ have private time”.

‘The Duke’ replied: “I am just departing Scotland should be down by 1800. I’ll ring you when I get down if you can give me a number to ring. Alternatively we could have dinner at Buckingham Palace and lots of privacy. A”.

Epstein replied: “bp pleease [sic].”

These emails do not indicate wrongdoing.

Andrew Mounbatten-Windsor did have a friendship with Epstein, but has said he did not ‘see, witness or suspect any behaviour of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction’.

‘Most trusted man in America’ among huge names in newly released Epstein flight logs

‘Most trusted man in America’ among huge names in newly released Epstein flight logs

The House Oversight Committee released more flight logs from Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane on Friday

The name of a broadcaster once known as the ‘most trusted man in America’ has appeared in flight logs from Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane.

Many high-profile individuals have associated themselves with Epstein over the years, with many of them now under fire after it was revealed their former friend was a paedophile and sex trafficker.

It’s worth pointing out, however, that being named on Epstein’s flight logs does not imply any wrongdoing or knowledge of his crimes.

The Trump administration has been criticised for taking so long to release all of the federal documents about the disgraced financier who died by suicide in a New York prison cell in 2019.

Meanwhile, his former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell is continuing to serve a 20-year-prison sentence for conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse underage girls.

On Friday (17 October), the House Oversight Committee released more documents relating to the convicted sex offender.

And in those documents were flight logs from Epstein’s personal plane from 12 January 2007.

Out of the seven people who joined Epstein on the plane was legendary broadcaster Walter Cronkite, often referred to as one of the most trustworthy journalists in the US.

It appears Cronkite boarded a flight from Newark, New Jersey to St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, according to the document.

Importantly, the documents do not suggest any wrongdoing. Cronkite was the anchorman for the CBS Evening News between 1962 to 1981, earning him the moniker of ‘the most trusted man in America’ following his coverage of the Vietnam War and Kennedy assassination. He died at the age of 92 in 2009.

Also on Friday, Prince Andrew announced that he would be giving up all of his Royal titles, including Duke of York, due to further reports of his relationship with Epstein.

“As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me,” he said having settling a sexual lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre. She died from suicide in April at the age of 41.

Previously, the likes of Maxwell, Andrew, Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and Elon Musk are some of the names that have appeared in flight logs without any suggestions of wrongdoing.

The committee also released a transcript of US attorney Alex Acosta, who had helped Epstein secure a plea deal in 2008.

That year, he pleaded guilty in Florida state court to solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution with a minor.

The American financier was sentenced to 18 months in jail, but only served 13.

He was arrested again in 2019 for the sex trafficking of minors and died aged 66 by suicide in prison while awaiting trial.

Acosta defended his decision and said: “Every attorney that looked at the case, from the prosecuting attorney, again, through the entire chain, looked at the evidence, and there were evidentiary issues with the victims.

“Many victims refused to testify. Many victims had changing stories.

“All of us understood why they had changing stories, but they did.

“And defence counsel would have – cross-examination would have been withering.”Featured Image Credit: Neil Rasmus/Patrick McMullan via Getty Images
